Douglas C. Davidson
Doug Davidson is the President and CEO and is also the founder of New South Construction. Since starting New South Construction, he has been responsible for the overall company business development and strategic growth planning. As a result of his dedication to his employees and to his clients, he has led the growth of New South Construction from its inception in 1990 to a $180 million construction company today.
Tom Troutman
Tom Troutman, Executive Vice President of New South Construction, is responsible for the business development and strategic planning for the Corporate Client group. Tom joined New South in 1990 serving as the Manager for Delta Air Lines Technical Operations Center renovations. Throughout his career with New South, Tom has worked to establish and maintain relationships with our clients. Eighteen years later, New South is proud to say that many of our first clients remain our strongest.
Huntly Gordon
Huntly Gordon is an Executive Vice President with responsibilities for the business development and strategic planning for the Private Client group, as well as the Savannah office. He started with New South Construction in 1991 as Vice President and has played a critical role in the success and growth of New South Construction. Having 22 years of construction experience and with his teamwork approach to leadership, Huntly strives to instill in his team that client satisfaction, quality, integrity and safety are the core principles in the daily operations.
Dan Smith
Dan Smith, Vice President of Finance, is responsible for managing New South Construction’s financial operations. With a background in finance and accounting, Dan joined New South in 1993 serving as Accounting Manager. Through his 16 years of dedication and close attention to detail, New South has developed into a successful $180 million company.
David Goodhead
David Goodhead is Vice President of Operations for New South Construction’s Corporate Client group. Joining New South in 1999, David served as Senior Project Manager for Community Bank of the South, Thomas Enterprises, Cobb County Work Release, General Mills and other Criminal Justice projects.
Rob Dunn
Rob Dunn is the Vice President of Operations for the Private Client group. He began his construction career with New South Construction Company after receiving his Bachelors in Building Construction from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1994. Throughout his 14 years of experience, he has completed many diverse projects including the Woodward Academy Lower School, Ansley Golf Club clubhouse, Covenant Group II office building, Mercer University Center and the prominent Millennium Gate monument located in Atlantic Station.
