Commitment To The Environment
Waste in the construction industry has a huge impact on the environment. New South Construction recognizes that, as we set an industry example in our commitment to recycling, we are laying the groundwork for a new environmental consciousness within the industry. Our goal on each and every project is to minimize construction waste; realizing even small actions can greatly affect the future of our environment.
Both in the office and on the jobsite, New South focuses on the efficient use of materials and supplies. We support a "green" office, implementing the reuse and recycling of office products. Additionally, New South Construction performs work for many clients, who have helped us to further embrace sustainable and lean construction practices.
We are proud to have taken part in many LEED projects as viewed in our market portfolio. We are currently involved in eight LEED projects and have completed an Earthcraft project for Emory University. New South Construction currently has 10 LEED Accredited Professionals on staff. We make a strong effort to include elements of sustainable construction in all of our projects. This protects the environment, as well as helping to increase the long-term value of the end product.
