New South Construction Company is proud to announce that we recently received the 2009 Partners in Promise Award from Coca-Cola's Office of Supplier Diversity.  New South was presented this Award for their work on the Atlanta syrup plant and included MBE suppliers, totalling over $10 million in 2009 alone. New South takes its relationship with minority suppliers seriously, with a team effort dedicated to identifying, monitoring, mentoring, tracking and verifying spend amounts.  A primary goal of the Supplier Diversity program is to bring in new firms to the sub-contracting pool at Coke.

New South is a member of the Greater Atlanta Economic Alliance, formed in 2000 as an educational and outreach tool to help grow minority businesses.  New South's President, Douglas Davidson, is very involved and serves as a board member on the Greater Atlanta Economic Alliance.
