EMORY UNIVERSITY - SORORITY HOUSING Project Overview

This project is situated on a 1.6 acre site in the heart of the Emory Campus and consists of site work, utilities, land improvements and the construction of a 92,000 sf, 5-story building with 204 beds. The building structure consists of concrete foundations, load bearing masonry walls, hollow core floor planks and a metal roof truss system. The exterior veneer is brick and stucco. The interior construction is metal stud and drywall construction with wood flooring, carpet and tile finishes. With the environment in mind and the help of the advanced mechanical and electrical systems, the building achieved an outstanding Earth Craft rating.
