GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY - ALPHARETTA ACADEMIC FACILITY Project Overview
The Georgia State Alpharetta Academic Classroom is a low-rise building similar in character to GSU’s existing adjacent building. The new building consists of a 53,500 sf facility and has a number of classrooms, instructional labs with offices, library space, and additional support space. The project scope also includes provision for approximately 500 parking spaces. The delivery method is CM@Risk, where New South has worked collaboratively with the Owner and Design Professional in providing preconstruction services including: technical review, cost verification, cost evaluation, value engineering, schedule development and schedule evaluation, as well as management of the construction.
