DOBBINS ARB - CONTROL TOWER Project Overview
The air traffic control tower consisted of nine stories, and includes: restroom facilities, shower and locker area, administrative areas, break room, training room, mechanical areas, electrical areas, chases for mechanical and electrical, stairwells, and an elevator. The scope of the work also included modifications to existing parking lot with adequate stand-off distance, connection sidewalks, landscaping, and fencing. Supporting utilities include gas, sewer, water, and underground electrical and communication services.
The project included demolition of the existing control tower and demolition of the existing beacon tower located at Dobbins Place.
