PEACHTREE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH CAMPUS ADDITIONS AND RENOVATIONS Project Overview
The Peachtree Presbyterian Church Campus Additions and Renovations project includes an expansion of the church across Roswell Road onto recently acquired property. The campus expansion includes a three-story, 360-space, precast parking deck, along with a four-story youth building. The youth building includes two-story high school worship space, a middle school worship space, a gathering area / coffee bar, classrooms, and support spaces. The campus expansion is connected to the existing facility via a 90-foot long bored tunnel below Roswell Road. Connection from the tunnel to the existing facility takes place in a three-story addition to the sanctuary gathering building, which includes expanded pre-function space, reception lobby, classrooms and support spaces.
New South Construction was awarded this project through an interview process and has been working closely with Merriman Holt and Peachtree Presbyterian to ensure a successful project. The close proximity of the new work with an existing active campus requires extensive preplanning to ensure uninterrupted operation of the occupied campus during construction.
