WESLEY WOODS OF NEWNAN - PEACHTREE CITY Project Overview
This project at Wesley Woods of Newnan-Peachtree City included the addition and renovation of their existing assisted living facility. The scope of work included the construction of 23 new skilled nursing rooms and 6 new assisted living rooms as well as a clubhouse with a restaurant and assembly room for resident functions. The Wesley Woods facility is unique from other retirement facilities in that the goal was to create a “home-like” setting. To accomplish this, the design included detailed wood trim and crown moulding, architectural ceiling features and the use of elaborate light fixtures and chandeliers.
After completing the new addition, New South began the renovation of the existing building which included approximately 8,000 s.f. The renovation took place while keeping the building fully operational for residents and staff. This required intense coordination and cooperation with the entire project team to ensure the safety and comfort of the building occupants.
