Higher Education - EMORY OXFORD COLLEGE RESIDENCE HALL
EMORY OXFORD COLLEGE RESIDENCE HALL Project Overview
Oxford College, located 38 miles east of Atlanta, is the singular academic division of Emory University situated on a distinct, residential campus with its own history, traditions, and campus life. The New Residence Hall Complex accommodates 350 students and is comprised of two L-shaped buildings, which create a large interior courtyard. The buildings feature two main lobbies, each with a different function. One lobby houses the reception area for the complex and features a large lounge with recreation equipment and the Residence Life staff offices. The second lobby features a demonstration kitchen and seating area with outdoor access to the brick patio in the center courtyard. The residence hall complex also includes a large conference room, classroom space and the Student Health Services Clinic.
One of the many highlights of this project is the LEED Gold Certification that the building will obtain after its final review with the U. S. Green Building Council.
