DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE - CONTROL TOWER Project Overview
The air traffic control tower consists of nine stories, and includes: restroom facilities, shower and locker area, break room, administrative areas, training room, mechanical areas, electrical areas, chases for mechanical and electrical, stairwells, and an elevator. The scope of work consists of modifications to existing parking lot with adequate stand-off distance, connection sidewalks, landscaping, and fencing. Supporting utilities include gas, sewer, water, and underground electrical and communication services.
The project includes demolition of the existing control tower and demolition of the existing beacon tower located at Dobbins Place.
