WOODWARD ACADEMY CAMPUS ADDITIONS Project Overview
The construction of Woodward Academy's Richardson Hall consisted of a 69,000 s.f. addition and renovation to the Fine Arts Building. This included the addition of a theater, photography lab/dark room, sculpture studios, choral and band rooms, painting studios, dance studios and sound-proof music practice rooms. Woodward's Carlos Hall included renovations of approximately 11,850 s.f of the existing Administration Building and a two-story addition which included a new boardroom area and admission offices.
Woodward Academy's Lower School consisted of the construction of a new three-story classroom building with a gymnasium wing and an art wing. New athletic fields including baseball, soccer and track were a part of the Lower School project. The Lower School Building was chosen as the recipient of the Craftmsmanship Award of Excellence from the Masonry Association of Georgia, and was a AGC Build Georgia Award Nominee.
