Clubhouses  -  HIGHLANDS COUNTRY CLUB

The Highlands Country Club, nestled in the picturesque Smoky Mountains of Highlands, North Carolina, was looking to update the existing golf club. The scope included the renovation and expansion of an existing 18,000 square foot clubhouse into a 30,000 square foot piece of art. The heavy timber framing and extensive millwork inside the club gave the impression of a sophisticated mountain lodge, while the exterior was dressed in poplar bark siding, native stone, and cedar shake shingles to blend in with the majestic backdrop. The interior space called for many different functions, from a new kitchen to men's and women's locker rooms. As the pictures indicate, the final product is a true compliment to its beautiful surroundings.
