Clubhouses - DRUID HILLS GOLF CLUB
DRUID HILLS GOLF CLUB Project Overview
The Pool Pavilion was Phase I of Druid Hills Golf Club's Restoration 2003 project. The new Pool Pavilion consists of a covered activity area, new men's and women's restrooms and showers, an attendant's room, a toilet and changing area and a storage room. The wood trellis was extended toward the existing clubhouse and was complemented by GFRC columns on top of stone veneer piers connected with picketed handrails. The entire pool deck was extended 12’ and connected to the activity area of the pool pavilion. A new stone veneered retaining wall faces the golf course and Clifton Road. This project also included a new handicap ramp from the clubhouse to the existing pool deck.
Phase II of Druid Hills Golf Club's Restoration 2003 was a new, three-story Golf Pavilion. The lower level includes golf cart and bag storage. The main level includes the pro shop and Turngrille overlooking the 18th green. The men's locker room covers the entire upper level with views down the 1st and 18th fairways. As part of this phase, we also renovated the lower level of the existing club.
