This clubhouse is a 42,000-square-foot testament to taste and luxury, and is the centerpiece of social life for the members and their guests. This project consisted of the renovation and expansion of the existing Nicklaus Clubhouse located at Colleton River Plantation in South Carolina. The existing building was almost totally gutted to make way for the refreshed facility which provides more inviting public spaces and takes advantage of the spectacular coastal views. 

The expansion included a new kitchen, formal dining area, private dining area, pre-function space, and a 3,000-square-foot banquet room. Additionally, the clubhouse featured men and women’s locker rooms, both with card rooms and a lounge. Scope also included a 3,500-square-foot fitness center, which includes a state-of-the-art cardio area.
